Wheeler drew an assist. Ondrej Pavelec made a number of big saves throughout the game and it looked as though these two teams were bound for overtime. The last three Jets games were decided by a shootout, while three of the last four games for the Wild have gone to overtime. However, a faceoff after an icing call, the Wilds top line connected for the game winner for the second time in as many games.
