Does anyone has an idea of how to solve this?

I recently returned to stronghold kingdoms, by downloading the iOS app. When i want to link my in-app account to my e-mail adress, it gives the error that this email adres is already in use. This is correct, since i played the desktop version of the game a couple of years ago on this mailaccount. But i dont use this account anymore.

Now i want to link my active iOS account to this old account, but it is not possible. I cant change the email of my old account when i log in either. And i dont want to create a new email adress for this. I also tried to get my old account deleted, but this also is not possible. There has to be an easier way. I can imagine more returning players will run into this problem.

Does anyone has an idea of how to solve this?

Please help.
