Die Jäger des Schicksals » The best PvE class in Destiny 2?

Hi,

I'm planning to buy Destiny 2. However, I'm not sure if I should keep playing as a hunter as back in Destiny vanilla, I always felt as if I had chosen the worst class for PvE. Also, back then a majority of Destiny players play as Warlock mainly for the Sunsinger subclass which was overpowered compared to the others. But what about Destiny 2? Which class is the best?
Please help.
