ANKARA， Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- A rocket fired from northern Syria hit a bazaar area in the southern Turkish border province of Kilis on Thursday， injuring six， governor Ismail Catakli said.


Catakli said five children and a woman were injured， but CNN Turk， a local broadcaster， put the number of injured at seven， including one in critical condition.


The rocket， which landed in a bazaar in the center of the province's capital city that bears the same name， came from an Islamic State-controlled area in northern Syria， Dogan News Agency reported.


The Turkish military said it has fired back in retaliation.


Turkey has been under rocket attacks from Syria since mid-January， leading to the death of more than 20 and the injury of over 80 others in Kilis alone.

Industrial companies with annual revenue of more than 20 million yuan (3 million U.S. dollars) reported profits of 5.58 trillion yuan in the first nine months, up 22.8 percent from a year earlier, the NBS said in a statement.
